I have regularly seen large numbers of Pacific Gulls roosting near the corner of Dandeong-Hastings Freeway & Thompson Rd. The actual roost area has varied as the Lyndhurst Estate has developed, most recently they can be seen near the road on the norh side of Thompson Rd about 100mts from the freeway. Often 100+ birds.
