Wed 22 Jun Spotted Bowerbird, Brown Quail & Squatter Pigeons. 'Tank' dam - 2km south of Prairie.
About 8:00am, 10 Brown Quail side-by-side drinking in the open - with 10 perfect reflections (& me with no camera). They ducked for cover when 7 Squatter Pigeons (race scripta) glided in. At the associated water-trough, 8 Spotted Bowerbirds were lined up along it drinking.

Tue 21 Jun Baillon's Crake Pentland dam
Around 10:30 am & in bright sunlight, we stopped here to hopefully see the reported Baillon's Crake. 3 (2 A + 1 imm) were wandering around in the open amongst the 100s of other waterbirds present including many colourful Cotton Pygmy-Geese. An excellent spot for any travelling birdo.
