After a failed attempt in the rain this morning I went back this afternoon for another crack at the white fronted honeyeater. Had a fantastic half an hour watching one very hyperactive bird chasing all others from its favorite tree, and feeding in the blossoms. A number of times the bird flew down to some low flowers giving me some fabulous views. Seems like an amazing find for Brisbane so thanks to Collin for posting!
