This argument is beginning to drift into the ad hominem region.

Can we please stick to the posting rules, particularly 2 and 3?

Please remember that messages sent to the Birding-Aus mailing list should not: 
  1.. be of a purely commercial nature 
  2.. contain offensive or inappropriate language 
  3.. contain personal attacks - argue about the message, not the messenger 
  4.. contain attachments of any sort 
  5.. exceed 20Kb in size 
  6.. include all of the original message if replying (use only what's needed 
for clarity) 
  7.. stray too far from our main topics: Australian birds, their habitat &
