I thought the Standing Orders for April Fool jokes was, that if you pulled on after mid-day on the 1st of April, you were designated the April Fool. At least it was when I went to school, last century.

Hi all,

I got a few off-line questions about the link that did not work. Indeed the link did not work because it was fake, and also the title of the "paper" was completely made up. Here the "authors" of the "paper":

Abbott('s) B(ooby)
Peale('s) S(torm-)P(etrel) (Pealeornis and Pealea))
Ross('s) G(ull)
Ipswich S(parrow)
Lewin('s) H(oney)E(ater)

Forster('s) T(ern)
Olrog('s) G(ull)
Oustalet('s) S(unbird)
Levaillant('s) W(oodpecker)

Read the "authors' last names'" initials from top to bottom ;-)

Sorry for the late silliness - but it was still within one hour of the silly date (Fri Apr 01 22:53:17 2011)!

Cheers,

Nikolas
