Sun 27 Mar	Wandering Tattler, Lesser Sand-Plover long reef 1 Wandering Tattler, 7 Grey-tailed Tattlers, 1 Lesser Sand Plover, lots of Turnstones, Golden Plovers and Red-necked Stints, Sooty Oystercatchers and a handful of Crested Terns, Pied and Little Pied Cormorants. sebastian mackay
	Scarlet Robin Bundanoon A female bird seen in semi-rural area off Coalmines Rd. My second spot for SR in Bundanoon thus far. Lorne Johnson
Sat 26 Mar	White-winged Black Tern Nobby's Head, Newcastle A single White-winged Black Tern and a small group of Common Terns amongst a few Crested Terns, Silver Gulls and Ruddy Turnstones were seen on the rocks beside the harbour. A Sooty Oystercatcher flew over the pathway in front of us heading towards Newcastle Beach. Edwin Vella and Tony Dawe
	Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove St Ives Immature flew into window and died Bob Way
	Spotless Crake Triangle Pond, Sydney Olympic Park 1 Spotless Crake seen in the papyrus'at the end of triangle pond. The water is higher than it would have been before last weekend, and it didnt come out into the open, but I still got some good views. Joshua Bergmark
Fri 25 Mar	White-throated Needletail Woonona 15 White-throated Needletails sighted above our house in Woonona, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong. Martin & Penny Potter
	Musk Lorikeet Redfern and Surry Hills, Sydney Small flocks daily, others with Rainbows. Following on from their movement into the inner city last autumn/winter, numbers look larger and earlier than last year. Eric Finley
	Grey Goshawk Lamond Drive just off Pacific Highway ,Turramurra At 12.30PM a grey goshawk circled briefly, accompanied by seven noisy sulphur crested cockatoos, before being driven off southwards by a persistent australian raven. Nick Billington
Thu 24 Mar	Black-necked Storks 3 1 Beach Stone Curlew . 1 juv Urunga opp, ocean view hotel .TWO ADULTS Yellow rock rd Raleigh . BS_C Urunga opp, ocean view Hotel on sand spit. Nambucca U3A Birding for pleasure course, Per Allen Hamilton.
	Square-tailed Kite Wyoming/Green Point, Central Coast Regular sightings of A Square tailed Kite between 6/3 and the 21/3 including a pair on the 18/3. Another sighting at Green Point on the 23/3.The birds have been around for several months now about the same time for the last few years (see Central Coast bird report). Hoping for a juvenile soon. Tue 22 Mar	Spectacled Monarch Harrington and Saltwater I heard Spectacled Monarchs today both at Harrington Rainforest (early morning) and Saltwater NP (mid morning). Otherwise it was fairly quiet at both sites. Alan Stuart
	Bush Stone-Curlew Harrington The lone Bush Stone-Curlew at Harrington (present for ~ 2 weeks now but I think not reported previously on this forum) was still there on Monday and Tuesday this week. It looks to be in good condition. A local with whom I spoke said that he has also seen it feeding at night down near the lagoon. Alan Stuart
Sun 20 Mar	Streaked Shearwater 2km off Port Stephens Single Streaked Shearwater seen yesterday not far from the heads off Port Stephens (see image for context) on the Port Stephens pelagic that only made it half way to the shelf due to a vicious storm cell that blocked our path. Amongst the other birds seen was a Black-browed Albatross, as well as a Pheasant Coucal on Cabbage Tree Island. Photo by Allan Richardson. Mick Roderick and 13 other observers
	White-headed Pigeon, Yellow-billed Spoonbill Kurrajong Hills and Richmond Pair of White-headed Pigeons on Mill Road, uncommon visitors here. 6 Yellow-billed Spoonbills at Pughs Lagoon continue the recent w Sydney records. Eric Finley
Sat 19 Mar	Sooty Tern, Long-tailed Jaeger Pelagic off Port Stephens Two Sooty Terns picked up by Dan Mantle about 2/3 the way to the shelf (one adult, one juv). Up to 7 Long-tailed Jaegers amongst the good numbers (up to 30) of Pomarines. Also an adult Shy Albatross was a little unexpected given the season. Single Solander's Petrel and 3 Great-wings too. 	Peregrine Falcon, Whistling Kite Patonga, Central Coast in the Patonga-Pearl Beach area on a very wet day when birding was very difficult, a pair of Peregrine Falcons were seen at Patonga, where two pairs of Whistling Kites can easily be seen, Both pairs have nests in Norfolk Island Pines although it was not certain as to whether the nests were occupied, as the parent birds were just perched near the nest. A late Sacred Kingfisher was seen along Patonga Creek Fleeting views of a Brown Goshawk at Kariong were obtained. Alan Morris & 14 members of a Follow That Bird Trip
Tue 1 Mar	Gang-gang Cockatoo Yarramalong Rd Wyong Creek A flock of 11 juvenile and adult Gang-gang Cockatoos seen roosting and chewing on Liquid Amber trees then flying onto Sydney Blue Gums. Paul Shelley
Sun 20 Feb	Channel Billed Cuckoo and Little Eagle Roselands and Narwee In the space of two days saw a juvenile Channel Billed Cuckoo being fed by a Currawong( Georges Crescent,Roselands) then a magnificent Juvenile Little Eagle sitting three metres up on a branch of a Paperbark(M5 scenic walkway between Penshurst Rd and Bonds Rd Narwee) Andrew Naylor
