Menkhorst and Knight's A Field Guide to the Mammals of Australia is very good, has a waterproof cover and cost me only $40. It's currently in the 2nd edition, dated 2004. It's a lovely book with Frank Knight's usual excellent artwork. Hope that's some help. Cheers, Tony |
