Crested Shrike-tit
Private Residence, Gawler East
heard the contact 'chicking' sounds and then got a great view of two birds in close company exploring outer foliage of Euc. Camaldulensis in neighbours yard. Present for three or four minutes before taking flight and heading towards Dead Man's Pass Reserve. My third record for this species at this site. The same tree, incidentally, was being 'pruned' by neighbour on cherry picker on Sat. afternoon - can't afford to lose another magnificent old River Red in this area! (2).
