Whatever you think about Facebook, it's here to stay, and - as we saw in Egypt and Tunisia - social networking can be very powerful. Therefore, a Facebook Page you're all invited to visit: Save the Orange-bellied Parrot. (NB: not to be confused with three other FB pages with similar names.) This Page is intended to act as a site for exchange of information and views on Australia's most endangered bird. It also aims to raise awareness of the bird's plight and to help instigate fundraising for urgent research. Please have a look, click 'Like' and have your say.
