G'day folks, had a bit of success this arvo and a great time to boot. With the poo ponds closed I shifted my attention next door and uncovered a birding wonderland with a bunch of species still missing from the poo ponds list. The biggest surprise was a few Bourke's Parrots just behind the tip. I have stuck some photos up on the blog. http://comebirdwatching.blogspot.com/2011/02/bourkes-parrots-mulga-parrots-spotted.html Cheers, Chris Watson Alice Springs -- *BIRDS CENTRAL* *Central Australian birding resource* *Guiding, writing, and the latest site information* *from Alice Springs* www.comebirdwatching.blogspot.com =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
