The role An opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated  
Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Visual Neuroscience  
Laboratory, headed by Professor Mandyam Srinivasan. The successful  
applicant will contribute to an understanding of the principles by  
which birds (in particular, budgerigars) use vision to guide their  
flight in cluttered, three dimensional environments. The insights  
gained will be applied, by other members in the laboratory, to design  
vision and navigation algorithms for the guidance of autonomous aerial  
vehicles.
