Thanks Peter. This sounds like great news!
A few years ago I was talking to the people who run the adjoining historic
Bellarine Railway. They indicated that they were hoping to turn Lake Lorne into
a tourist fun-park-type wetland, featuring footbridges, islands and paddle
boats. It may be worth keeping an eye on how this pans out.
