Hi allGiven I suspect there may be a few people waiting for the weekend before being able to try for the Wandering Tattler at Sydney's Long Reef, the bird was still there at low tide 8am Thursday 10 Feb. Note that it was initially seen on the north side of the reef flat, next to the recently arrived but very much worse for wear boat. As the tide advanced (and I retreated), the bird then crossed back to its more favoured location in the jumbled rocks on the south side of the reef flat. There were at least 5 other Grey Tailed Tattlers on the reef too, plus plenty of Golden Plover, Red Necked Stint, Sooty Oystercatchers and the usual assortment of Crested Terns, Silver Gulls & Cormorants.
