G'day all,
I reported a Ruff on Birdline NT yesterday evening, and popped
back this morning to have a better look. The bird was more flighty today but
I first found it feeding among Sharpies at the southern end of EP7b, then it
flew to EP7c briefly, before flying to the area of EP7 just in front of the
Date Palm. It stayed here for a while among various other waders.
I also flushed 2 *Gallinago *Snipe from the brush between EP7b and EP7c and
on the basis of flight characteristics and call I would tentatively describe
them as Latham's Snipe.

Cheers,
          Chris Watson
