Some people are very easily amused, probably why one of the most popular exhibits at Agricultural Shows are the poultry.

Hi All,

I've just returned from a Christmas holiday birding in Thailand and have
been putting up some video on YouTube (
http://www.youtube.com/user/wazoologist ) of some of the birds and animals I saw. One of the videos has been of Red Junglefowl and the number of views per day and positive emails about it has been amazing. It seems there are a
lot of people out there who just love looking at chickens (or their
ancestors) basically! Kalji Pheasants, Greater Necklaced Laughingthrushes or
any Australian birds forget it. Maybe that's the key for getting more
Australian birders started?

Those videos I took of the nesting Night Parrots, well they are in the
delete bin. It's out to the backyard chicken coop!

Cheers,

Richard King
