The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period 
Monday, December 13, 2010 to Sunday, December 19, 2010:

Area: SA

Date: Sunday, October 31, 2010

Location: Port Vincent

Little Bittern (Ixobrychus minutus) (1) Found dead by Rob Marner beside his 
ornamental garden pond at Port Vincent. Cause of death unknown. The fresh 
specimen will be given to the S.A. Museum.

Date: Sunday, December 5, 2010

Location: Hinks Conservation Park, Eyre Peninsula, aaprox. 4 kms south of Park 
entrance along Nicholls Track.

Malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata) (1) The adult bird walked across the track ahead 
of us and moved briskly into the scrub.  There was no evidence of a mound for a 
radius of approximately 80 metres from the crossing point.
There was a disused mound approximately 2 kms north of the point where this 
bird was sighted.
