A great article, Bob. It's informative and well written.
I must say that my own opinion has shifted on this issue as more
information and explanations have been given. At first, I didn't
realise the sites were on Freehold land - and an awareness of the
significance of the area gradually emerged. You article certainly
helps us understand the cultural, natural, and archeological
significance of the area.
I'd strongly urge all birding-aus members to read the article, and the
comments that follow. Thankfully the number of moronic responses is
very low, while most of the comments at least show a little thought.
