With the aid of Adrian Boyle, George and Mark Swann are now satisfied that a
Pipit that they have been watching for two days on the new sports ground
behind Woolworths in Broome is a Red-throated. The three Australian records
of this species have been within 2 km of this point. The bird is very
flighty not allowing close approach. Sharing these ovals are 50/60 Yellow
Wagtails of two species, Eastern and Green-headed (taivana).
