I returned recently from back-to-back birding trips I organised to the Dominican Republic, north-east Brazil and Colombia. All are top-rate birding destinations little visited by Australians. The Dominican Republic and north-east Brazil legs were all-Australian while in Colombia we were joined by colleagues from the United States, Canada, Norway and Denmark. We recorded 104 species in the Dominican Republic, 486 species in Brazil and a whopping 770 species in Colombia. I have completed or am compiling trip reports from these trips. Feel free to contact me if you want any reports.
