Hi all, While at Serendip Sanctuary at Lara, Victoria yesterday I saw two Plumed Whistling Ducks. They were near a section of the track which encircles the sanctuary where recent rains have created a wetland on each side of a causeway. I understand that the sanctuary had had some of these ducks on display in the past although after speaking to one of the rangers I believe these birds may be totally wild birds, Cheers, Paul Paul Hackett Melbourne, Australia 0397724329 0414355146 =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
