There are several vacancies on the boat trip out of Port MacDonnell, near Mount Gambier, South Australia, on Sunday 28 November. Please contact Colin Rogers at if you are interested. As always, the viability of the trip depends on the weather. The boat is a large cray-fishing vessel with plenty of space for 12 birders. It is fast and the continental shelf quite close, so travelling time each way is usually just over 90 minutes. The trip out yesterday (Sun 14 Nov) was a little bumpy but conditions improved quite rapidly out at the shelf. Highlights included - * Southern Fulmar * White-headed Petrel * Northern Royal Albatross * immature Salvin¹s Albatross * Long-tailed Skua Grant Penrhyn ============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org ============================= |
