Hi,
I've just spoken to the Lord Howe guys. I am almost 100% convinced with the
identification and should receive photos some time today. In the mean time, I
have found another charter flight, half the price of the first.
I've also organised access with Lord Howe Parks, though this may incur a
nominal charge for guiding services (unlikely to be more than $50 per person).
The bird is a half hour walk from the airport but is in a private area that is
sensitive to disturbance.
Subject to confirmation of ID, we will plan a charter on the weekend.
CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.
Simon.
