Mr Carter,et al,

I arrived at the Mordialloc creek at around 12:20 yesterday (time noted in
my notebook) and found several observers already there. One gentleman
introduced himself as Bill Ramsey, and was kind enough to give me I.D points
as I looked through my scope. He mentioned points that had been told to him
by "Mike".

After I had been there for 10-15 minutes the other birders all left. I was
watching a small, short legged tern that had been getting everyones
attention. As I put my head down to make some notes it flew off.

I havent seen anyone post on birdline in relation to this sighting,so was
just looking to see if anyone was confident in that being the Arctic Tern.

I stayed there for a while but it did not return, which would fit in with it
flying to Ricketts point.
