I heard an unusual call at dawn this morning. I live near a large
woodland area, but this unfamiliar call sounded like something I'd
expect in a rainforest area. It was a monotonous chew-chew repeated
on a two second cycle for at least 5 minutes.
it doesn't match my memory of the cadence of either Noisy Miners or Striated Pardalotes. Would anyone have suggestions as to what species might be making such a call in SEQ? Regards Laurie. ===============================To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
