Dear All,

This winter/spring has brought excellent rains to the Centre, as well as Western Qld. and NW NSW. With Princess Parrots seemingly irrupting in response to the excellent seasons, perhaps it would be worthwhile for birders in SW Qld to look closely at any medium sized parrots they see, particularly those with a longer tail. There have been unconfirmed sightings of PPs at Cloncurry and Windorah, Qld in the last 40 odd years, so perhaps this year they may get as far as Qld again. I am going up to Bowra and Kilcowera stations next week and I will certainly be giving likely parrots a a good look.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
