The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period
Monday, August 16, 2010 to Sunday, August 22, 2010:

Area: SA

Date: Saturday, August 21, 2010

Location: Morgan Conservation Park

Australasian Bittern (Botaurus poiciloptilus) (1) Heard right in front of me in
the reeds from the side of the main road while scanning the Lagoon. Northern
side of the road, corner closest to the Ferry. Unmistakable distinctive call
coming from at a guess 25-40m away, scanned area of reeds for 20min but it
wasn't showing itself!

Regent Parrot (Polytelis anthopeplus) (20) Mostly feeding in small sand hills
east of the Lagoon.

Crested Shrike-tit (Falcunculus frontatus) (2) Located in large River-Red Gums
also east of the Lagoon.

Pied Butcherbird (Cracticus nigrogularis) (1) On North Eastern edge of the park.
