Location: Granite Island, Victor Harbor
Buff-banded Rail (Gallirallus philippensis) (2) Excellent prolonged views on
the inland side of the circuit path, on the south side of the island.
Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora) (6+) In the same location as the Rails,
giving similarly excellent views.

Hooded Plover (Charadrius rubricollis) (1) One adult foraging near to the
freshwater stream.

Location: Nullabour Plains
Cinnamon Quail-thrush (Cinclosoma cinnamomeum) (2) One adult Cinnamon
Quail-thrush seen feeding another and I watched for quiet a few minutes. Very
close to the side of the road, 3 Klm east of the Nullabour Roadhouse.
Today I have also seen Banded Lapwings with DY, Four Wedge-tailed Eagle, plenty
of Shy Heathwren and an Osprey passing the Whale platform.
