I notice some contributors assuming that those travelling to see the Princess Parrots had no permission to be in the area. I guess I am in a unique position by being a resident at Mt Liebig Aboriginal community which is one of the two main communities (the other Haasts Bluff) on Haasts Bluff Aboriginal Land Trust. I have express permission from the local traditional landowners to travel south of Mt Liebig to photograph birds. I would have responded earlier but I have been away since Thursday.
