Strikes me that this could be a wonderful opportunity for traditional 
owners, some of whom are excellent trackers, to guide birders to selected 
spots and gain some revenue and good will at the same time. A couple of 
switched on co-ordinators could achieve this scenario. Even at other times, 
just to see spectacular country....in preselected, to them acceptable 
places, away from their sacred places and homes.
In Southern and Eastern Africa, wonderful guides take birders and other 
naturalists to visit "their patch" - and boy, they see and find things 
faster than most of us ever would.
Wouldn't that be something positive.....or, is that "pie in the sky"...???
