Hi Arwen,

There is an equivalent to WikiAves. It's called Birdpedia. In fact you are
already a member.

Not only can you do all of what you ask for Australia but for any of another
230 odd countries as well.

Please explore Birdpedia thoroughly and see what it offers. Consult the
attachment when you first registered to get an overview of what is
available. If you can't find the email you (and any other person that may be
interested) can download it from the articles section (see let menu - look
for 'Birdpedia - What is it and What does it Offer?').

Remember Birdpedia was built for birders. The more members that contribute
the more useful it will be to birders. To get a feel of what is can do for
you login to any of these countries:

Australia (au)

France (fr)

Singapore (sg)

Indonesia (id)

If you cannot find a particular country or have an idea that might be useful
to others let me know about.

Regards,

Martyn Price
