 Good News.
Birds Australia Eagle Cam at Sydney Olympic Park.

At 7:13am Friday 30th June the first signs of one of the eggs being pecked from
the inside. By 7:28am there was a hole. At 8:01am the first wing was out. At
8:09am the shell had split in half. The first good look of the chick was at
9:56am but still pink and wet downy covering.
At 12:50pm the male bring a live fish (whiting) back to the nest, the female
immediately claims the fish but does not eat it straight away.
At 14:12pm the Female is trying to encourage the chick with some fish. The
chick
is having problems holding its head up and staying upright, well it is only
about 6 hours old.
By 16:04pm the chick is taking small bits of fish.

There will be some videos posted in the next few days they will be on
Bird-O.com, I will send the links when they are loaded.

Don't forget to visit the Birds Australia Discovery Center at Sydney Olympic
Park to see the chick close up on the High Definition monitor.

Regards
