Hi Barry
I use The Field Guide to the Birds of Borneo Sumatra, Java and Bali by
McKinnon and Philips.
Also the Photographic Guide to the birds of Indonesia by Morton Strange and
the Oriental Bird Images website as some of the drawings in McKinnon are a
bit ordinary.
Have fun and don't forget to send me a trip report!!
Oh and don't forget to report any beach-washed Fiordland Penguins you might
come across while you are there!!
Cheers
Steve Potter

I am travelling to Bali, Sumatra and Borneo later in the year and would like
to know what the best field guide is for that area. Thanks for your help.
