Earlier today I had a Square-tailed Kite fly over my home at Ninderry in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the latest of a series of observations of this scarce species in the region. Yesterday I saw a Spotted Harrier and three Grey Goshawks at nearby Maroochy River.
