I placed an order with The Birding Shop for a new swarovski 25-50xW 'scope
eyepiece when they first hit the market.Luckily I never got to the stage of
money changing hands as all my subsequent enquires via 'phone and
e-mail,leaving multiple messages,were never answered.

Subsequent enquiries made to Swarovski Optik in N.S.W. informed me that my
order was never placed from The Birding Shop.I bought one elsewhere.

I dealt with Charles a couple of years ago when I bought my 'scope and
binoculars. At that time he would often have to close the shop without
warning due to ill health requiring him to attend hospital.I think now the
business is effectively closed and I hope Charles is taking care of himself
and regains good health.

It would help though if the shop and website stopped taking orders that
cannot be filled.
