Kilcowera gets my vote. Its such a large area with such a wide variety in
terrain. And lots of water. The accommodation is really good. The track
system is pretty easy to follow and the property owners have produced a
basic, but good map showing the ?destinations? on the property. I was wowed
by the Bourke?s parrots.
Lots of opportunities for exploring on this property, and lots of things
besides birds to see.

Subject: Bowra recently, SWQ, query
Hi, a request on behalf of a friend who hasn't ever been to South-west
Queensland, and needs some information which I can't provide. She is not an
experienced bushbirder.
I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has stayed at Bowra under the
new ownership. My friend wants to know if there is anyone living at the
property, who can help with suggestions for birding on the property. She is
trying to decide between Bowra and Kilcowera. If anyone has suggestions,
please contact me.
Cheers,
Jill
