Hi Jill,
We were at Bowra first week of June and it's still pretty much the
same as its always been. Ian is out there most days and offering help
etc. Also the map that they have produced is still great and there
always seems to be other birders out there to have a chat too. I've
always found people only too happy to share what they have seen - goes
two ways of course!
Never been to Kilcowera personally although it seems like the place to
be at the moment from other reports i have seen.
