Tue 22 Jun Double-banded Plover Wellington Point
4 Double-banded Plovers on the "spit" to island mid morning

Sat 19 Jun Yellow-nosed Albatross Southport Pelagic
At least 8 Yellow-nosed Albatross following a fishing trawler just a few
kms off Southport. Not that common in Queensland waters.

Fri 18 Jun Eungella Honeyeater Snake Rd, Eungella Uplands
4 or 5 birds seen 100mtrs along Snake Rd from Dalrymple Rd junction,
feeding on mistletoe with dominant Lewin's Honeyeaters. A very
co-operative adult male Regent Bowerbird was seen closely a few times
further up along Snake Rd.

Wed 16 Jun Major Mitchell's Cockatoo Balonne Hwy, 12km E of Bollon
9 birds including a begging juvenile allowed a very close approach while
feeding on melons alongside the cypress/mulga beside the road. Other
good birds seen at the same site included Spotted Bowerbird, Inland &
Chestnut-tailed Thornbills, Splendid Fairy-wren, Crested Bellbird etc.
