Having had my Garmin GPS II stolen whilst birding in Queensland in '08, I now also use an Etrex which I find is perfectly adequate for birding purposes - and a fraction of the cost. Tony -----Original Message----- From: On Behalf Of Richard Johnstone Sent: Monday, 10 May 2010 9:12 PM To: Stewart Ford; Subject: Decimal Vs Sexagesimal Notation for GeographicalLocation Stewart, the GPS I use is an Etrex, cheapest model available at the time, and it's about 3 years old. A newer one that we have at work looks almost identical, but is much more complicated to use. Richard. |
