Mon 19 Apr Grey Falcon Alice Springs Sewage Ponds
Single bird flew low overhead toward the south east. It circled a few
times over the sewage ponds and then continued westerly out of sight. A
great view, fortunately with three of us all clearly identifying the
bird.

Possible Metallic Starling Adelaide River Inn
Great views of a pair of Metallic Starlings in the palmtrees inside the
beer garden at the Adelaide River Inn, an hour south of Darwin. Birdata
and all my books tell me they should be confined to Queensland. Does
anyone have any other sightings of Metallic Starling this far west?
[Moderator notes: very unusual, with potential also for other species
such as Singing or Asian Glossy Starling. Worth further investigation.
