Magpie Goose (Anseranas semipalmata) (1) 5-6 geese on the ponds in patch od 

Heavy rain. Birds were shy and wary.

Location: Hahndorf-Littlehampton

Wedge-tailed Eagle (Aquila audax) (2) Two soaring low over wooded hills just 
north of the Hahndorf-Littlehampton Road, about 0.5km west of the Mt Barker

Location: Intersection Park and Walkerville Tce and Main North East Rd

Long-billed Corella (Cacatua tenuirostris) (50) Long-billed Corella, 50 of them 
feeding on olives that had fallen from trees

Location: Gilberton Linear Park

Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus) (1) Two Cockatiels on the shared 
walking/cycling path. Cyclist came round the bend and ran over one, killing it. 
The other stayed in the area calling. Another walker went to contact some 
person to retrieve the remaining bird, as it seemed unwilling to leave the 
area, and not interested in flying up into the trees.
