I would say Red-tail improbable, habitat OK for Glossy providing casuarinas
are present but huge range extension.
How confident can we be that the observation is genuine, before we get too
excited about it.

Hi,

Glossy Black Cockatoos would be just as unlikely, if not more unlikely. I
wonder what is the chance of Red-tails from elsewhere in Australia ending up
here. Strange things could happen in a country going through a drought cycle
and now torrential inland rain.
