Last night, Chris Corben and I enjoyed fine views of a female Marbled Frogmouth at one of three sites I know of for the species in the Mapleton Forest Reserve. We also saw three Tawny Frogmouths, one of which was battling a huge centipede, a Southern Boobook, 6 Greater Gliders, a Sugar Glider and a Common Ringtail with nesting material in its tail. Chris recorded 8 species of insectivorous bats with his bat detector.
