Hi all Coliban Water in Bendigo, Central Vic, is contemplating erecting a publicly accessible bird hide at the Epsom Wastewater Treatment Plant. The agreed "best spot" is at the well known "Crake Pond", which is right by the roadside. As well as supporting a regular population of Crakes & Rails, this area also has a population of the endangered Growling Grass Frog. I have been asked whether there are any good designs available for a bird hide. Obviously we have all visited many and have ideas of what works & what doesn't, but does anyone have access to drawings of same. Do not have to be high quality. All input welcome. Bob Cook Axedale VIC. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
