Late yesterday afternoon (about 6 p.m.), while at the Naamaroo Conference
Centre, Lindfield (adjacent to Lane Cove National Park, north of the Sydney
CBD), I observed two adult White-bellied Sea-eagles flying overhead. They
were flying in a southerly direction along the Lane Cove River.

I realize that sea-eagles are seen regularly along the nearby Parramatta
River and breed at the Homebush Bay wetlands, but it is the first time I've
seen them along the Lane Cove River. Does anyone know if this a rare event?
