Do you mean deleting all the quoted information below? That's up to you, I
prefer to delete anything that isn't relevant to my reply, but to leave at
least some for context. In this case it's a bit hard to know what to get rid
of. You can see how leaving it all in makes the pages in the archives very
long. Note that point 6 of the list rules at
http://lists.vicnet.net.au/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus mentions that replies
should not "include all of the original message if replying (use only what's
needed for clarity) ".
