G'day Russell Some of that spam sounds OK... For what it's worth I like BA the way it is. I subscribe to forums (birding and other stuff) as well and they are better for much larger groups I think. I also use Twitter but not much for birding stuff. So I know what's available and possible and I like BA as it currently is. We should revisit this from time to time but you'll hear no complaints from me at this time.
