Hello Greg (re: spotted harriers on the Sunshine Coast.) About a week ago a Spotted Harrier was seen at Barker Inlet Wetlands, also known as Greenfields Wetlands, which is a short distance from Adelaide (approx. 10km) and well within the metropolitan area. It was seen again by three more observers three or four days after that. Although these two observations were probably the same bird, it is the first time I've personally recorded the species this close to Adelaide.
