I'm pretty sure I had a Barbary Dove on the house next door to me at
Vista in NE Adelaide yesterday. First time I've seen one up this way.

Can anyone tell me where I could find a recording of a Barbary Dove
online? It isn't on the BOCA CDs.

I heard an unusual dove call near Westona station this morning, and
considering how close this is to the population at Maddox Rd in
Williamstown (2.5km to the east), I thought I should check it out. It
could be a captive bird, but I haven't heard it there before.

It sounded a bit like a Spotted Dove, but higher pitched, although I
couldn't hear it properly over a nearby airconditioner.
