Sat 9 Jan       Eastern Grass Owl Kedron Brook Wetlands 
Good views of a single at 18.50 hrs 
Tom & Marie Tarrant, Marion Roper, Steve and Bill Murray, Richard
Fuller, Glenn 

        
Wed 6 Jan       Eastern Grass Owl Kedron Brook Wetlands 
Pair seen very well at dusk in the same area where they were previously
reported. 2 or 3 Lewin's Rails calling at dusk too.

Tue 5 Jan       Common Tern Oxley Creek Common 
single bird circling Pelican Lagoon around 10am

Sun 3 Jan       Raptors,Ducks,Honeyeaters,Lewins Rail Lockyer Valley 
Good day in Lockyer Valley.No sign of Pec Sand at Jahnkes Lagoon,instead
20+ Sharp tailed Sands,3 Marsh Sands,3 Glossy Ibis and 5 Black Kites
flying over.At Adares Road,6 Fuscous and 3 Brown headed Honeyeaters,1
Pacific Baza.At Uni lakes 6 Blue billed Ducks including a pair with 2
young.A Hobby at 7 Mile Lagoon and a Lewins Rail seen running across the
road near Lowood.

1 bird flew close overhead around 7.00pm thanks to Andy Jenkins for
information
