On 8th January, on the Tablelands Highway, Northern Territory, about 150 km
south of Cape Crawford, I spotted a harrier sailing low over grasslands
towards our car, passing directly overhead. It was a striking bird, pure
white underneath, apart from a black hood and black, fingered wingtips.
Anyone travelling that way might like to keep an eye out for it.
